Broadleaf weed in lentils are a major contributor to yield loss. On lighter soils with a history of pasture, capeweed proliferates. Lentils are expanding into these areas. Combined with early sowing, capeweed has had a large impact on lentil grain yield. This project aims to find solutions to capeweed and other common broadleaf weeds in lentil production systems.
